IT'S NOT ALL BLACK AND WHITE

{Sweatshirt}Zara, {Skirt}, Zara, {Eye Wear}Barton Perreira, Feldon via Black Optical, {Handbag}Saint Laurent via Bergdorf Goodman, {Boots}Nine West

One of my trademarks has become wearing a matching set, usually in a graphic pattern.  I love the statement they make together, but equally I like the option of splitting them up from time to time and multiplying their versatility.  On a side note how amazing are these Barton Perreira sunglasses?! I don't wear red very often but in an accessory I'll make an exception.

FAR AND AWAY

I found this statement anchor necklace at the NYC Garage Flea Market...I have already worn it a lot!
{Crop Top}American Apparel, {Skirt}Asos, {Vintage Necklace}New York City Flea Market, {Oxfords}Steve Madden, {Vintage Coat}Shareen Vintage, LA, {Handbag}Saint Laurent, {Eye Wear}Asos

When we decided to have a shoot during the Gateway Balloon event in Claremore, Ok, we came up with a lot of great ideas.  Unfortunately, the event was unpredictable and threw our timing and schedule off...but sometimes greatness comes from that! As we were driving to a hilltop we had scouted to get a few background photos, a balloon landed in a field right next to us.  Talk about a lucky accident! The evening ended with a beautiful view of the balloon glow...it was truly breath taking!

HIGH LINE

There are so many captivating views of the city all along the walk

This vintage double lion necklace has become my current fave!

{Dress}Asos, {Vintage Gold Jacket}via Silver Screen Vintage, {Vintage Neckalace}via Mae's, {Handbag}Saint Laurent, {Boots}Shoemint, {Eye Wear}Asos

A couple of weeks ago I was in NYC for NYFW.  It was a whirlwind of appointments, exciting meetings(more on that later), shows and catching up with friends.  I didn't have much free time but I was able to fit in a quick photo shoot with super talented photographer and blogger Kat Harris. The weather that day was absolutely gorgeous so we decided to get some photos in the Meatpacking District and all along the High Line (one of my favorite places!) Happy Thursday!

DOUBLE DECKER

{Dress}Chicwish, {Handbag}Saint Laurent, {Eye Wear}Asos

Anyone who knows me is well aware of my love of all things British.  While I have yet to go, I daydream of perusing the streets of London, visiting the colorful Piccadilly Circus, scouring for top notch vintage pieces at the flea market, visiting Buckingham Palace and admiring the beauty of Knotting Hill.

A few weeks back, I took an alternate route through downtown on my way home and saw a double-decker red bus parked in a warehouse garage.  I immediately turned around and went to inquire about this unexpected discovery.  I was elated to find out I would be able to use this bus for a photo shoot and create a London-like atmosphere here.  If you live in Oklahoma or plan a visit here soon I would highly recommend booking a ride on the Cheyenne Bus! You can book it here for a variety of events.

Special thanks to Oleg, Steve and Daniel for graciously lending the bus for this photo shoot!
