STREET STYLE FAVORITE: JULIA SARR-JAMOIS

Creating a perfect balance with a basic grey sweatshirt and a houndstooth Balenciaga skirt

The pairing of sneakers with this ultra feminine look creates the perfect balance of femininity and masculinity

Pardon the pun but I am completely bananas over this Prada skirt! The telephone cord vintage bag is a favorite as well(I have a couple myself)

When it comes to my own personal style, I tend to love mixing high and low, experimenting with patterns and silhouettes and of course I love to infuse vintage.  I am not really influenced by anyone in particular in my styling but I have an admiration and feel inspired when I come across photos of Julia Sarr-Jamois, Fashion Editor of Wonderland Magazine and street style favorite during fashion weeks.  What I love most about her style is her innate ability to wear basic staples that include boyfriend jeans, sneakers, a neutral sweatshirt or t shirt and mix them with one or two statement pieces.  Her style never looks overly thought out yet it is eye-catching, quirky and individual.   Is there someone who inspires you?

IVY LEAGUE

{Floral Short Suit}Forever 21 {Vintage Cage Bag}via Pandemonium Vintage {Eye Wear}Rayban

This season short suits have been cropping up everywhere.  From solids to stripes to prints, the options are endless.  When I spotted this one at Forever 21{yes you read that right} I scooped it up immediately.  Paired together the suit makes a strong impact but I've found the pieces work great separately as well.  I think every girl should own a LSS{Little Short Suit} in their closet!

Black Optical Spring/Summer 2013 Look Book

I recently collaborated with Black Optical for their Spring/Summer 2013 look book.  I served as the stylist as well as prop stylist.  The theme for the look book was "Travel" and featured a mix of cool and eclectic eye wear.  It was an honor working with the great team of Gary Black and Darshan Phillips! To see more of the eye wear you can visit www.blackoptical.com or visit their store locations in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.  I have been crushing on these Dita cat eye sunglasses from the store for a while...

Gilded in Gold

{Sweater}Vintage via the Tulsa Flea Market {Pants}J. Crew {Jacket}Asos (old by similar here) {Handbag}Vintage {Earrings}H&M {Shoes}Ann Taylor

A few weeks back I went by the Tulsa Flea Market and found this gem of a sweater.  The detailing on it is amazing! I love the baroque feel of it and all of the textures. It is reminiscent of the Fall 2012 Dolce and Gabbana collection don't you think? I paired it with my favorite Minnie pants and a vintage gold handbag from Somerville, New Jersey

London Calling

{Dress}Vintage via Cheap Thrills Tulsa {Jacket}Forever 21 {Tights}Hue {Handbag}Marc Jacobs

If you were to peruse my closet you would find I have a love for two things...plaid and bows.  I found this amazing 1960's dress at Cheap Thrills in Tulsa, Oklahoma and it was love at first sight. Since moving here from New York City three years ago, I've discovered some amazing vintage shopping here! If you are ever in the area, check out Cheap Thrills and on the weekends, the Flea Market at the Expo Center has buried treasures.
